FACTORY WORKSHOP SPECIFICATION:
25 N·m (18 ft·lb, 2.5 kgf·m)
CRITICAL WORKSHOP PROCEDURE:
High-strength steel brackets installed on top of the frame on each side of the tie-rod. Position brackets and torque retaining nuts to 25 N·m to permanently prevent elongation under heavy bottoming loads.
CRITICAL RECALL INSPECTION (Recall 18V-866 / Bulletin MC18-06). Both the rear hydraulic brake hose and the rear wheel rotation speed sensor wire MUST be seated strictly INSIDE the inner channel of the swingarm mud guard.
