Defect Description

Polaris Bulletin I-22-04: Coolant junction manifold may crack or leak under thermal expansion on 2019-2020 and 2022 FTR 1200 models.

Safety Hazard / Consequence

Pressurized hot coolant spraying on rider's leg or onto the rear tire creates severe burn and traction loss hazards.

Factory Remedy & Repair Action

Dealers replace factory coolant junction housing with reinforced countermeasure housing torqued to 10 N·m.
