Defect Description

Piaggio Safety Recall A_160299_RC_EN: Front master cylinder pushrod and rubber boot can allow air ingress into the hydraulic circuit during lever rebound.

Safety Hazard / Consequence

Air ingestion into the master cylinder leads to spongy lever travel and reduced braking efficiency.

Factory Remedy & Repair Action

Dealers will install redesigned pushrod, spring-loaded seat, and sealed rubber boot kit (2B003807) free of charge. Bleeder screw 5-7 N·m.
