| For almost two decades, physicians,
therapists, counselors and caregivers have used Educo bead and wire mazes as therapeutic
and rehabilitation aids for children and adults who are challenged physically, mentally or
emotionally. Educo International earned the Gold Seal of Excellence and the Special Needs
Award from Oppenheim Toy Portfolio in 1993 and 1996. Virtually every Educo maze has been used in resource centers, classrooms,
clinics, and private settings to stimulate individuals with a variety of disabilities from
autism and muscular dystrophy to Down's Syndrome.
The activity guides that Educo
prepares for each product feature sequential, open-ended activities that present
participants with goals requiring varying degrees of manual, physical or conceptual
dexterity, so a sense of accomplishment is fulfilled on the completion of each task. In
this way, anyone can enjoy a maze, regardless of ability level or age.
The following Educo products are most
often requested for Special Needs. You can click on the maze name or image to view product
